NEW IMAGE graduation ceremony

We arrived there an hour before it started! We were all rushing to get ready, my shirt was not even ironed.  Jay didn't even get to change because my little sis was so sure that her ceremony started at 4pm when it was really at 5pm. Grrr at least we got good seats!!!

My lil sis (in the white) texting while standing with her classmates

Irony of the shirt LOL
Celebrated at a sushi restaurant in Downtown with some o so delicious Sapporo beer
Mother Mother Concert
how lucky are we?! coincidentally we arrived after the rain stopped and concert ended when it started to rain

My friend Jay xoxo

Went to the 12AM show at the Rio Theatre, they show all the classic movies there and the great thing about this theatre is that they serve BEER!! It's an older looking theatre, built in the 30's.  It's smaller and just feels cozier.  Before the movie starts one of the staff does a lil comedic, life lesson standup and hands out movie prizes.  Anyway we didn't stay too  long (10 minutes into the movie) a girl was being way too loud and somehow she was covered in coffee afterwards, oopsies.

Movie Reviews

Terminator 1 1984 ********** 7.5/10

I always thought I've seen the very first Terminator...I was proven wrong when I thought the good guy was Arnold! This movie was action packed and helped me understand where it all started from as well to getting to know the characters better.

The King's Speech 2010 ********** 7.5/10

Geoffrey Rush and Colin Firth were amazing in it.  Their performances were superb.  It was very entertaining, dramatic and a touch of amusement. This movie really portrayed King George V's characteristics and how much of a hero he was! And OMG the couple sitting next to me were laughing throughout the whole movie!!! I couldn't understand why....Anyway I still very much enjoyed it.

Valentine's Day

Since Valentine's Day is just around the corner, I thought it'll be nice to display some lingerie

Laura Jacobs Corset

Absolutely stunning corsets simply captivate by their intricate designs and detailing. Each corset, you’ll see the huge amount of work put into them. Tiny roses, crystals, glass and porcelain mosaics.
The idea behind works is that women used to change themselves with help of clothes such as corsets but now it came to changing themselves from the inside going for plastic surgeries and rib removal. Amazed by the extent to which women are ready to alter themselves Laura Jacobs was inspired to make her corset works.

Movie Reviews

So I haven't gone on this for awhile but like I said before, I watch at least one movie every night! Anyway here are the  movies I've seen.

 No Strings Attached 2011 ********** 8/10

I really enjoyed this movie, unlike all the other romantic comedies.  I felt that Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher had chemistry.  The characters were very amusing and quirky. It was sort of a surprise how much I liked her in it, though she is a very talented actress. Kept me entertained throughout the movie that's why I watched it twice!

Martyrs 2008 ********** 5/10

Brutal - yes, both the gore and storyline.  The torture is uncomfortable and hair pulling, thanks to the make-up work which is amazing but it's just a sick torture porn with no real story.

So yesterday I posted more movies but losted it all, my laptop  restarted itself =(

 The Fighters 2010 ********** 8/10

I LOVE Mark Wahlberg!!! Fell in LOVE since Fear came out.  Both Bale and Mark gave a knockout performance.  It really showed the love between family, business/career and partners.

TEETH 2007 ********** 1/10

1 for entertainment and surprised that someone actually made a movie about this.  Thumbs up for that, made me laugh.  Thought they would show more than the guys junk though since it's about pussies.  Overall this movie bites.
 The Human Centipede 2009 ********** 5/10

Another torture porn.  Watched this while eating a vege patty.  Every time I smell meatballs or some sort of patty I want to throw up in my mouth.  It's disturbing and entertaining but don't recommend watching the sequel.

 Killer Klowns 1988 ********** 2/10

It has everything you are looking for in a circus; popcorn, cotton candy, balloons and scary clowns that you always feared of in a comedic way.  =)
Repo Men 2010 ********** 6/10

It's not as bad what people say it was, maybe because I watched it from home.  The ending was a bit ridiculous.  And with the whole new organ transplant, with that kind of technology there should be a GPS device installed in it.
 Blue Valentine 2011 ********** 7/10

The dialogue is very meaningful and realistic.  Both Gosling and Michelle Williams delivered stellar performances.  I found that a lot people can relate to this movie and can generate lots of discussions.  It definitely had me going for a few days especially the way this movie ended.
